In this vlog: mourning the Patriots loss, throwing things in slow motion, backgammon with pigeons, and Lumierre the French Candlestick.

  1. Enjoy the blog, Karsten!

And for the record, I'm a VERY loyal Colts fan, and the Jets had me backing the Patriots last weekend. Almost. And then I remembered your 3 early picks in the draft and how that increases the chances that the Patriots will make the Superbowl next year. When it's in Indianapolis.

  2. Nothing more to say other than I'm in totally morning. After the loss, I rushed upstairs and put on my Red Sox jersey. Needed comforting. BTW, really wish the Jets would stop talking smack. Give me a break. Stats, dudes, stats!

  3. That was funny. And yes, that's all I have to say.

  4. I've spent the entire season mourning my own team (New York Giants) so I understand your pain. Actually thinking about it now, in three months I get spend a whole other season of Baseball mourning the Mets.

I really need a different set of teams to cheer on...

(and don't worry, when I was in Asia Market I saw a candy was named after me! I took a picture sent it to all my friends and then bought them all a bar saying "And now you can all taste how great it is to be me!" except the bars tasted like charcoal--my friends still throw jabs at me for that...)

  5. Uh oh. I'm not sure if we can be friends anymore. I hate the Pats, though admittedly it's really all jealousy. It's just not fair for one team to have that much success, unless it's my team of course.

I do like the Celtics though, maybe that will help.

  7. Your team losing = sucks. Your team losing to happyfeet = more sucks. feel for you.

  8. Thank you everyone for your condolences. It's been 72 hours since they lost, and I think I've only made it through the first two stages of grief. "Weeping/Throwing things" being the first, and "Eating everything in sight" being the second. But that's normal for me.

  10. How very weird. I was just thinking of having classical music play in my head while throwing things over being forced to listen to classical music on various vlogs. Wonder what that was all about?

  11. It's been a week and I'm still not over it.

My only condolence is that the Jets have been knocked out.

Also, the Karsten chair is more than mildly exciting. Don't feel weird about that.

  12. Don't be surprised when she sends you a text back saying "Much like you, the chair is on sale because nobody wants it"....

As much as this made me laugh out loud, the look on your face made me feel bad for doing so... I'm sorry! I'm sure she didn't mean it, though...
