The Query for WILDEFIRE

I don't usually post anything other than video on the blog, but I thought this was worth the break from tradition. Chuck Sambuchino, Editor of The Guide to Literary Agents, just posted Wildefire's query (along with my Super-Agent Mary Kole's commentary on it) up on his Successful Queries column on his blog:

This is a companion piece to a spotlight he's writing about Wildefire and I for a forthcoming issue of Writer's Digest. Thanks to Mary and Chuck for putting this together.

I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes featurette.

  9. As an intern who's read countless queries over the last year, I'd say this is probably one of the best I've ever seen.

God, can you write mine for me? :-p

  10. I read about you in Writer's Digest. Congratulations, Karsten. I'm a Boston girl myself. I went to MassArt, right up the road from Simmons. You landed a wonderful and intelligent agent and I wish all the luck in the world. : ) I'm looking forward to reading your book. And I will follow your blog. Because I must see you do this dance. Too funny.
