My First Commercial?

I always knew I'd be in commercials when I grew up.

This is not what I imagined.

A special thank you to the lovely conference founders for allowing me to be the centerpiece/mascot of their new promo: Elana Johnson, Casey McCormick, Lisa and Laura Roecker (who knew Batman and the Jokers could work together on a project?), Jennifer Stayrook, and my Andrea Brown Lit agency-in-laws, Shannon Messenger and Jamie Harrington.

Visit http://writeoncon.com/ for more information and to register starting tomorrow, July 1! It's free!

  2. Alliances are shifting every minute. I have decided to become Switzerland and watch this all go down from the safety of my bed.

    AKA

I am highly interested to see how you'll become involved in what's already the most epic event the writer's blogosphere has ever seen. I think things are about to get colossal.

  4. LOL this is hilarious! One day I'll have to show you one of my dance videos from high school--you'd appreciate the choreography.

  5. Hahahahahaha! After they see the attention to detail you've put in your scene setting--great plaid--you're a shoo-in. (this event gets better and better and it hasn't even happened)

  6. Okay, first--why was I not following your blog? Major lapse in judgment there! Second, I didn't know we were agency-in-laws either! I think I've been living under a rock! And third, thank you SO much for being a part of this. You are made of awesome. ;)

  9. Good to see a fellow male writer get into the mix. And I got it. You're teaching us how to celebrate when we get our work published. So it does fit into the convention.

So I had to link to this on FB.

  12. Karsten--is it weird that I was wondering things like--how did you figure out which grocery store Casey shopped at, and was your airfare to CA reasonable? But, loved the moves. Hope we see more moves at writeoncon!

  14. It's so refreshing to see multi-talented YA authors who can dance and act.
